Fuel Storage Tank

A railway fuel storage tank, based on the Thornaby TMD tank until its demolition in about 2011. The kit also includes the brick bund and a pump room. The pump room has opaque window panes - these can be made transparent, if required. Interior decoration is not provided.

A template is included for tank top walkway railing fabrication. The 'Built to Order' option includes ladder and railings.

Multiple tanks can be joined together by reprinting the kit and building another.

Footprint: 110 mm x 110 mm (Brick Bund) and 52 mm x 52 mm (pump room, including roof overhang)

Fuel Storage Tank & Pump Room Material Kit

Materials for one tank, brick bund and pump room.

Optional materials for walkway railings and ladder are not supplied.
A railings template and guidance is included in the kit instructions.

Contents:

  • 2 x 750 micron (0.75 mm) A4 Grey Board
  • 3 x A4 Sticky Backed Paper for Ink Jet or Laser Printers
  • 30 mm x 0.5 mm diameter wire
  • 130 mm x 1 mm2 twin & earth mains wire

You still need to print the model kit yourself and source adhesives.

This model requires 1 x A4 white, non-sticky print paper that you probably already have to hand (not included) .
